How We Help

Biogenica’s solution connects land, nature, renewable energy and digital infrastructure to create lasting environmental and commercial value. Biogenica is uniquely placed to do this, with over a decade’s experience and proprietary datasets that maximise biomass production and energy utilisation whilst restoring landscapes.

We have proprietary access to data that instructs what is best to plant and grow as bioenergy crops at any given site. This is paired with know-how ensuring land management practices support the surrounding landscape, thus making biogenic crops more sustainable and resilient.

    • Continuous cover forestry transition

    • Riparian and Short Rotation Coppice (SRC) willow planting

    • Climate-adapted species selection

    • Hedge management

    • Soil remediation

    • Fuel crop selection and breeding

    • New crop sourcing, trial and development

    High-Efficiency Energy Conversion

    Biogenica - Tree saplings.jpg

The performance of any bioenergy asset depends on the quality, consistency and sustainability of its feedstock. Biogenica brings together a decade of land management experience, a comprehensive database with practical crop and trial data, and deep operational and technical knowledge of biomass-to-energy systems.

Improved upstream management increases the availability and tonnage of biofuel (e.g. sourcing locally from forest waste remnants) and boosts energy yield and utilisation rates on conversion. The result is biofuel that’s more efficient and higher-yielding, while ensuring a circular, defensible, nature-positive solution.

    Infrastructure Development & Energy Delivery

    Biogenica - Tree saplings.jpg

Baseload energy users face several structural constraints:

    1. Stringent planning and grid connection processes can delay projects by a decade

    2. Wholesale energy prices expose users to volatility

    3. Rising pressure to meet sustainability targets and regulations

Biogenica resolves all three: creating verifiable, low-carbon, nature-positive energy that benefits local stakeholders and the environment, and co-locating infrastructure with baseloaad power via private wire (a cable bypassing the grid), retaining public grid access as backup.

    • Site identification and feasibility

    • Construction and deployment

    • Carbon capture integration

    • Private wire and PPA structuring

    • Heat recovery & offtake
